Wineries
Nabeel Ibrahim's Napa Tour, in geographical order from south to north along 29, courtesy of Stephanie Schaaf. I haven't been to any of these myself.
- V. Sattui
- Good place for a picnic. Free tastings.
- Beringer
- Hourly cave tour.
- Ehler's Grove
- Tiny, tiny winery off 29 on the right just north of Beringer. Free tastings.
- Sterling Vineyards
- Gorgeous gondola ride up the mountain.
Del Dotto Caves in Napa has good wines (I like their Cabs) aged in barrels made from local and French wood, and they have a cave tour that looks very cool ($40 for an hour and a half tour). I visited with Eekim:Cindy Hwang on September 17, 2006.
Quixote Winery. Read the New York Times article.
Turley Wine Cellars. Also in Sonoma Valley.
