Also known as winter's purslane.

Miner's lettuce grows all over the Bay Area in the spring. You can find groves of it in Golden Gate Park near 20th and Lincoln Ave.

  • Seeds are black and high in Omega-3 fatty acids
  • Flower buds / immature seeds taste like peas
  • Shallow rooted (pick a few per plant)
