Apparently, back in the golden age of radio, Hawaiians got radio signals from L.A. and from San Francisco. In other words, there is a deep divide among the Hawaiian people between Dodger / Laker / Rams fans and Giants / Warriors / 49ers fans. Oahu is the third biggest island, and it's where the Honolulu airport is. I'm going there in June 2012.
