Restaurants

Dauth Schneider (Sachsenhausen). In the cobbled touristy streets of Sachsenhausen, just behind the Haus der Jugend. Mediocre, like most of the places there. On August 2, 2005, I had the Sachsenhauser Wurstplatte mit Sauerkraut und Brot, which included Rindswurst (beef sausage), Schweineknacker (pork), Gelbwurst (yellow), and Frankfurter. I also had the Apfelwein, the specialty of the region.

Restaurant "Haus Wertheym." Went with John Breslin and several others on August 4, 2005, who recommended it after seeing my pain from eating in Sachsenhausen the previous night for dinner (forgot to get the name of the restaurant, but I won't be returning, so it's okay). I had the Jagerschnitzel mit Pommes Frites und Salat, which was okay, but the thing to get was the sausage special -- it looked fantastic!
